Frederick Weighs Limits on Bikes and Skateboards
posted 7:00 am Thu October 11, 2007 - Frederick, Md.
Elected officials in Frederick are considering a change to a local ordinance covering non-motorized vehicles such as bicycles and skateboards.

The Carroll Creek Task Force has recommended that non-motorized vehicles be banned along the creek park between Court and Wisner Streets. Instead, the vehicles could use a path which would divert them away from the creekside. The city currently prohibits non-motorized vehicles on sidewalks in the Historic District and Carroll Creek Linear Park.

ABC 7 News myTAKE - What's Your Opinion? But they are allowed on sidewalks outside the Historic District.
