Oh please let me tell everyone considering Comcast to RUN from that thought. I had this company back in January of 2006 and I was promised I could keep my original native number. I was also "promised" it would be no more than a few days until the temporary number given me would be exchanged. Those few days lasted until May of 2006 and I had to verbally threaten them with a big fat lawsuit to get something accomplished. My cable never was up to snuff and the picture was freezing up and crashing. So was the Internet and the 12 phone "deluxe" phone features didn't work half of the time. I made so many trips to the Rockville office that the ones at the Front Desk knew me on sight and called me by my first name. Now I gave them every oppurtunity to make things right and each time I set up time frame appointments they either arrived late or were 'no shows'. I dropped them and went over to Direct TV and Verizon telephone. I am proud to say all services are great. The picture quality is outstanding and Comcast can kiss it. I just wish I had dropped them back in February when I began getting all that lip service. I am not sure what I was thinking by signing on with them. I was warned. I didn't listen. Sad indeed. I heard about the woman taking a hammer and going to their office. I had a good chuckle on that and I am behind her 100%.
