McDonald's Among Wall Street Big Movers

Stocks that were moving substantially or trading heavily Friday on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market:NYSECitigroup Inc., down 52 cents at $47.80. The company said it would combine its investment banking and alternative investments divisions into a single business run by a former Morgan Stanley executive.

Rogers Corp., up $5.56 at $47.85.

ABC 7 News myTAKE - What's Your Opinion?The maker of specialty materials and components raised its third-quarter profit and sales forecasts.

McDonald's Corp., up 45 cents at $56.70.

The nation's No. 1 hamburger chain forecast a third-quarter profit ahead of Wall Street's expectations and reported strong sales for September.

NASDAQOracle Corp., up 9 cents at $22.55; BEA Systems Inc., up $4.54 at $18.16.



Oracle, the business software maker, confirmed it offered to buy BEA Systems for more than $6.66 billion. Oracle said it sent a letter to the software maker's board offering $17 per share, a 25 percent premium to the stock's close Thursday.

CalAmp Corp., down 49 cents at $3.87.

The maker of wireless communications equipment predicted its fiscal third-quarter revenue will decline.

Limelight Networks, up 56 cents at $12.20.

The network services provider said it would restate financial results because it found material weakness in its internal controls that led to underbilling a client and overpaying a stock-option expense.
