This 'Staph infection' is starting to become a major concern for me and many others in the community, here in Front Royal, VA. I simply do not understand why the school system here did not shut down about a month ago, when staph infections started. They started in the new high school-Skyline. It has now spread to over half of the school. Children are still attending school, with the infections. This concerns me, especially. I have three children attending this school, and I am a bus driver for this school, as well. Driving a school bus, it has occured to me, that if just one of these children on a bus has this infection, it can so easily be spread to the next. These kids are sitting in the same seats, having skin contact with one another. I just don't know what to do..........should I keep my children home, until this has passed? Do I want to risk one of my own kids being the rare occassion that gets the deadly infection in their blood stream???
