All I can say is this.. if I was a republican I would be ashamed of myself these days. Thanks Mr. Bush for making it so damn easy to win next year...lol.. thank you very much...

My guess is that Tom Davis, having surveyed the landscape, will not run for the Senate seat. He has numerous problems, including but not limited to--

1. His district is becoming steadily more liberal, and he'll have to work hard just to get re-elected to his House seat, as a Republican 2. The GOP conservatives apparently despise him because he's too liberal 3. He is inextricably tied to George Bush, and the WAR GEORGE LOST.

Gilmore, the boy who will be nomincated by a right wing GOP cabal, in secret, doubtless will be way too far right wing to get elected statewide.

Can't happen soon enough
