I never said that what Vick did wasn't wrong. In fact, I'm disgusted by it and think that he should pay dearly for his crimes. However, I don't understand how you can condemn his actions, but say that you would shoot an illegal immigrant. It just doesn't make any sense. How can you justify shooting a human, but become sickened when someone harms an animal. Your sanity, Sir (I use that term loosely), is what I question. On a side note, I typically read everyone's posts because I want to. Yours and a few others stand out because I think they're moronic. You should really re-evaluate your logic.

NDM, I absolutely agree! I come to this site to read and participate in thought provoking dialog, but a vast majority of people come here just to spew filth and hate. There is one poster in particular (Prettyboy) that really got under my skin by saying that he would gladly take up arms and "go a hunting" to solve the problem with illegal residents. That is absolutely disgusting and it's a shame that his stupidity will probably be passed down to his offspring (or probably already has been). That's just what the world needs, more stupid people. Illegal immigration is a problem created by our government and has gone unchecked for the last 4 to 5 decades. It has to be dealt with through diligent legislation, which means that people need to start participating in the voting process. If you don't participate, don't complain. Posting ugly comments on this site and others like it contributes nothing.

I almost fainted at the PWC bravery and total rejection of political correctness. No, what is comes down to is respect for the law, eels. Why is that so hard to understand? It may come down to a certain type of fear--fear of seeing communities change *by virtue of those who have no legal right to be here.* And yes, it may be fear of those who speak a different language when certain of those individuals *do not respect us enough to come in the front door.* And if the "culture I don't understand is prone to lawlessness as its *first act in this country,* why should individuals that enter illegally get any benefit of the doubt.

It's actually pretty simple--those who really don't see the point to borders set up these straw horses about "fear" and "bigotry" because they simply are unable to confront the fact that the issue is *illegality* and illegality on a *massive scale.* But it's hard to defend illegality, so it must be "fear."

If one is here legally and is not involved in illegal activities, one has nothing to fear. This is not a race issue, this is not a religious issue, this is a LAW issue. Maybe we should deport those who support the illegal aliens along with them.

Understand it is a priviledge that not every breathing human being is entitled to that "just wants to make their life better". True- it's much harder to immigrate today than during our ancestors time - but that's because it's not a unpopulated country anymore. Why don't you take as many as you can in your house and pay their bills since you seem to be in favor of these criminals and you are quoting scripture. If it is so bad in their countries why don't they work to change the conditions. Why do they break our laws? They are criminals and need to be dealt with. They are using services they have no right to and are bankrupting those who provide the services such as schools and hospitals. Why should taxpayers have to pick up these costs? If I had my way, if you want the service and don't have insurance, you pay cash up front before you get the service. For those of you who say they pay taxes, you are naive. They don't pay state or federal taxes so that arguement won't wash. The bottom line is they are criminals who are draining the system.

I understand that not all the changes in the community may be welcome. So you claim that houses are over-occupied? Why is PWC not addressing this issue? Why are there not inspectors making sure houses have a safe number of occupants? You claim that immigrants are driving drunk. Why are there not more police officers out to stop drunk drivers (white, latino, black, asian- none are safe on the road)??

Don't get it twisted. If I am in PWC and get pulled over I expect to have them check my immigration status and I don't mind one bit. I know my social by heart and have plenty of documentation to prove it. So I would advise all people to have the necessary paper work on you and be prepared to answer questions. You noticed not many Americans protest the Police ability to check such. Why? Because we agree with it and welcome it. So when they take PWC to court and start talking about how it is going to be profiling, lay that to rest now that Americans and legals have no problem with it. And this govt. needs to stop using the word unconstitutional for every law they don't want to see enforced. Because the bottom line is we as in Americans have to abide by the law which is sprung from the Constitution so does our lawyers and judges.
