Woman Finds Stranger Sleeping on Sofa

A man is facing burglary charges after allegedly breaking into a home, raiding the fridge and crashing on the couch. Hugo Acosta told authorities he drank too much tequila at a nearby nightclub.
The home's residents found Acosta, dressed only in his underwear, asleep on the sofa Sunday morning. They woke him up and asked what he was doing in the home, then called police after his response was to fall back asleep.
A deputy arrived but was still unable to rouse the man. Two backup deputies apparently were able to wake him up.
Acosta is being held on $5,000 bail at the Volusia County Branch Jail.
