posted 10:31 am Wed October 17, 2007 - MANASSAS, Va.
A group of Hispanic residents from Manassas is suing the city and its school board in federal court, alleging a systematic effort to harass Hispanics out of town.

All the plaintiffs are either U.S. citizens or legal residents. The lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Alexandria comes a week after a similar lawsuit was filed against surrounding Prince William County.

ABC 7 News myTAKE - What's Your Opinion? But the Manassas lawsuit alleges that city inspectors and school officials worked together to illegally provide school records to city inspectors who were targeting Hispanic households for overcrowding violations.

Officials with the city and the school board won't comment specifically on the lawsuit, but they say their actions were proper.

A lawyer for the plaintiffs, said the school system's actions went well beyond permissible use of student information.

I am actually laughing here.. To up and sue for this is insane at best. How can someone or a group sue for unholding what is legal? It shows us the mentality involved here. I say when they go to court that is the PERFECT time to start DEPORTING PROCEEDINGS! I am sick of it all. I am sick of my tax money going in the pockets of those who are here illegally. I am, as I said very willing to take up arms and remove them forceably. Someday, if something substantial isn't done that will be the case. It's best to remove them now before the violence esculates to that level.
