CSX Reports Increased Train Traffic Through Hagerstown
posted 11:24 am Wed October 17, 2007 - HAGERSTOWN, Md.
Railroad operator CSX says its train traffic through Hagerstown is increasing.
A company spokesman says the city can expect to see two more trains rolling through the city six days a week. That's due to increased business at a new terminal in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Spokesman Jason French says CSX also is considering increasing the speed of trains in the north end of town from 25 to 35 or 40 miles an hour.
