   posted 6:39 am Thu October 18, 2007 - Washington
D.C. police say DNA from a baseball cap led to the arrest of a man suspected of killing bank security guard during a robbery back in 1997.

Police say 52-year-old John Williams is charged with felony murder in the death of 36-year-old Thurman "Craig" Brown during a July 17th, 1997, holdup at the D.C. Teachers Federal Credit Union on 'D' Street Northeast. Brown was shot four times while struggling with a gunman. Police say the FBI reported in June that DNA from a baseball cap that fell off the gunman's head matched that of Williams, who was in the FBI database.

ABC 7 News myTAKE - What's Your Opinion? After police got the information from the FBI, they developed their case until this week, when they were able to make an arrest.
