This is absolutely silly. No one MUST provide any REAL information about anything at Whois. You can enter any name you like, any address you like, any phone number you like. The only thing that is in your best interest is to provide a valid email address so you can be notified when your domain name is about to expire. One of the things people like about the internet is its thinly veiled anonymity. Anyone can find out anything about anyone else if they're willing to pay money to do it, and it won't matter whether REAL personal information is provided or not - the feds can find you through your valid email address (most registrars won't accept email addresses from yahoo or hotmail or others of their ilk). These "negotiators" ought to stop pretending and get down to what the real problem is: The ACLU.
