Forestville, Md. - A 14-year-old boy was struck by a car in Forestville; he is reportedly in very critical condition at Children's National Medical Center.

Shortly after 8 p.m. Thursday night at the intersection of Marlboro Pike and Boones Lane, a boy tried to cross the street while oncoming traffic had a green light. A woman in a Toyota Camry hit the boy; the driver was not hurt, and remained at the scene.  Watch ABC 7 / NewsChannel 8 and www.wjla.com / www.news8.net for further updates on the teen's condition and the police investigation of the accident.
