Dustin Brown registered a goal and assist for the Kings, who have won three of their last four games. Patrick O'Sullivan, Jarret Stoll and Kyle Quincey also tallied for Los Angeles.
"It feels good to get a win," said Kings head coach Terry Murray. "When you're on the road it's always very difficult to find wins. Tonight I thought the team played well, played smart."

St. Louis starting goaltender Manny Legace left the contest after the first period with a strained left hip flexor and did not return. He allowed two goals on 12 shots prior to exiting.
The injury occurred before the game. While coming onto the ice for the national anthem, Legace tripped over a carpet laid out for Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, who dropped the ceremonial first puck. He fell and gingerly skated to the crease.
"I just tried to battle through it," Legace said of the injury. "It was just getting worse as the period went on. I should have came out.
He was replaced by Ben Bishop, who stopped 15-of-17 shots in his NHL debut. The 21-year-old, at 6-foot-7, is the tallest goaltender to ever play in the league.
Quincey opened the scoring 12:21 into the contest. Right off the faceoff, Quincey let go a wrister from the left point that eluded a screened Legace on the short side. O'Sullivan gave the Kings a 2-0 lead with 2:11 remaining in the first period, capitalizing on a ghastly turnover by St. Louis defenseman Barret Jackman and ripping a quick shot from along the edge of the right circle past Legace.
Following a scoreless middle stanza, Stoll put the Kings up 3-0 at 3:32 of the third period. Brown stripped St. Louis' Keith Tkachuk of the puck in the neutral zone and fired a shot on goal from the high slot. Bishop made the first stop, but Stoll banged home the rebound.
Brown added an unassisted marker with 9:56 to play in the game.
