Todd Bertuzzi, Dion Phaneuf and Brandon Prust each scored for the Flames, who have won three in a row. Calgary had lost four of five to begin the season.

Miikka Kiprusoff stopped 23-of-24 shots in the win.

ABC 7 News myTAKE - What's Your Opinion? Todd Fedoruk had the lone goal for Phoenix, which lost for the first time at home this season. The Coyotes had won their first two.

Mikael Tellqvist allowed three goals on 35 shots in the loss.

Bertuzzi got Calgary on board with an early power play goal. Daniel Carcillo went to the penalty box for fighting and unsportsmanlike conduct, and on the man-advantage, Bertuzzi knocked the puck out of the air.

The disc went off Tellqvist's right skate and off the stick of Coyotes defenseman Zbynek Michalek, then into the net at 3:25.

Prust tallied his first career goal with 4:57 left in the opening period, when he accepted Wayne Primeau's pass from the left circle in the slot and fired one past Tellqvist low to the stick side.

Fedoruk got Phoenix on the board with a little more than a minute left in the first, but Calgary got the goal back in the second.

On the power play, Phaneuf got control of the puck in a scrum in front of the crease, and put a backhander high into the net for a 3-1 Calgary lead at the 6:31 mark.

Iginla's empty-netter in the final minute closed the scoring.

Game Notes
