Many-Car Accident Reported on Beltway Outer Loop

Alexandria (web|news), Va. - Virginia State Police have confirmed that all lanes of the outer loop of the beltway are closed for an accident prior to Braddock Road in Fairfax County (web|news) .
Traffic is getting by only in the service lane.
Unconfirmed reports say the accident was the result of a work truck hitting the jersey wall, leading to a chain reaction of other accidents. Only minor injuries have been reported.
