Vehicle Crashes After Police Pursuit

The collision happened shortly before 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of 22nd Street and Kearney Street NE. The people in the suspect vehicle -- it's unclear how many there were -- fled after the crash and remain at large, police said.
One person inside the van was transported to a hospital with what was described as non-life threatening injuries.
It was unclear why Cottage City, Md., police officer was pursuing the suspects or where it began.
