(Sports Network) - Sacramento Kings swingman Francisco Garcia fractured his right forearm Friday.
The former first-round pick injured his forearm while lifting weights and is scheduled to undergo surgery Saturday. The timetable for his return has yet to be determined.
Garcia, 27, is coming off a career season in 2008-09, when he averaged personal bests in points (12.7), rebounds (3.4) and assists (2.3) in 65 games for the Kings, who made him the 23rd overall pick in the 2005 Draft.
