(Sports Network) - The Philadelphia 76ers waived forward/center Stromile Swift and guard Sean Singletary on Monday.
The 6-foot-10, 220-pound Swift appeared in a combined 19 games for New Jersey and Phoenix last season, averaging 3.3 points and 2.4 rebounds. The second overall pick of the 2000 draft, Swift has averaged 8.4 points and 4.6 rebounds in 547 career games.
Singletary, a standout at the University of Virginia, averaged 2.4 points as a rookie last season in 37 combined games with Phoenix and Charlotte.
