Chiefs deal DT Tyler to Panthers

Tyler will return to his home roots. He was born in Fayetteville, NC and played at North Carolina State. The 24-year-old has played in 37 games for the Chiefs since being drafted by them in the third round in 2007.
The deal came a day prior to the league trading deadline.
