WASHINGTON - The Redskins (web | news) nation is restive. One of the most loyal fan bases in the NFL -- leading to one of the most profitable franchises -- may be getting fed up with the disorganized, losing team.

"I usually go to the games but I haven't seen any reason to go yet," said Charles Jones.

With a 2-4 record, the hometown team isn't winning over many fans.

"These guys are making millions of dollars and and they can't even win a game?" said Tonetta Spencer

The criticism against the Redskins, is now becoming more apparent in the stands, according to the Washington Post, , which reported attendance was down by 8,000 people when compared to the turnout at this year's home opener.

"I think the fans will come back out, that's just short protest of saying we want to win, win, win," said Reggie Jackson.

Nielsen ratings even point out that people are tuning out, even at home. But the team says these past few matchups just haven't had the same appeal with viewers. With the big game just hours away, fans say Monday night's matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles should be a good one. And could even lead to a victory.

"If ballplayers play the game like it should be done, I think they'll win," said Jackson said.

Already wearing her burgundy and gold, Jackie Cross says win or lose she'll be a supporter all the way.

"I'm just a fan, a true fan, I guess," she said.

But one fan admits the team could use a few changes.

"Get a new coach and a new assistant manager and maybe the team could start caring a little bit more," said Chrissy Richardson.

Monday's matchup will be the first time in 23 games head coach Jim Zorn won't be calling the offensive plays.
