Sounds like TheCommander has gotten a ticket by the Park Cops, don't hate just cause you were wrong.

With all the nuts out there this is serious. This fool is riding around in a Police car. A nut without a badge yet thinking he has one. The only way they knew it was missing was because a call came from its radio!! There has been too many police impersonators in this area lately to take this as a joke. I hope for all our sakes they took it straight to the chop shop.

I will tell you this...there is no way I will pull over for any Park Police especially if I am in the car alone. They will have to follow me to the station.

Wowzer
most of these comments are evidence that the poster didn't bother to read the article. There was no officer involved in the loss of this car.

whitebread - hehe - I thought the same thing about antique license plates

That car must have 500,000 miles by now. Must be a darned well built car. Ford should have a better reputation if their cars hold up like that.

The article states the vehicle was left at a repair shop in Brentwood so therefore I don't think you have any call to bring the officers into the comments. They may be all you say they are but I think the repair shop should be responsible for this. I wonder if it was found at the repair shop and perhaps some one was playing around with the radio. If they are "Park" police why do they need vehicles. Aren't they assigned to work parks? Seems they should be on foot or in some cases I know they are on horses.

Did anyone bother to read the article before your rude comments? It said that the cruiser was at a Brentwood service station when it was taken. How is that the officer's fault? Please read the artice before writing such ignorant posts!

The Commander
USPP is known as "Parky Pigs" because of their abuse and rotton attitude - I respect most police but these cops, in particular, the motormen and beat walkers in the parks are the worst - rude, clueless and love to write tickets and arrest people for j walking - disband them and let REAL cops do the job!

Tuckmeister
Some police cars are locked and there's a keyless entry so they can keep the engine running if needed (well, the newer ones anyways). Wonder if the officer kept the keys up on top of the visor!

Prettyboy
This is tooooooooooo funny..... laughing really big at the cops right now... hehehehe

"the missing vehicle is a 1998 Ford Crown Victoria" A 9 year old police car? It should be easy to spot with the antique license plates.

Eboy
Did they ever find Chief Ramsey's Crown Victoria? Crown Vics are the best. Like a big, comfortable woman.

Is Barney Fyfe on the loose again?
