If metro does increase fares, then i'm sure the metro checks that are given to most federal employees will increase. I think that is why those who do get the metro checks through there employer are not too worried.

Is this the same metro board that wants to expand to Dulles Air Port. If you can't handle what you have now, how in the H--- are you going to handle an expansion. Are the people of Northern Virginia dumb enough to think that they can afford to bail these folks out each time there is a problem along the new line. We are going to be taxed to the hill to pay for Metro's expansion. I believe would should just make a bus route from the airport, Reston and Herndon instead of paying billions of dollars for a broken down system and a bunch of fools who run it.

Metro should use some of the new funds to hire station managers who have a pulse.
