I'm sure somewhere out there, there is a couple of gene pool rejects selling these stolen trees on a corner... kind of like the people who sell roses at the traffic lights around here. It's unfortunate that the Boy Scouts will need to create a patch for standing watch over Christmas trees.
Personally I try to find the Boy Scouts selling trees at this time of year. I've always found a great tree and friendly helpful people on these lots.
I may be wrong here but...didn't something like this happen last year somewhere? I believe it did.. it's a sad and sick day when trees are ripped off...yes sad indeed..
Regarding these trees, at the end of the report the reporter (I think it was Gail) said that the type of trees that the scouts were selling were only being sold by these scouts, in all of Northern Virginia. I think that they should have showed an image of the type of tree so that viewers could make a mental note, if anyone sees them or is offered them for sale . . . just a thought.
I'd like to catch the perps and take em on a campin trip, deep in the woods of West Virginia, and get em lost. I hope they appreciate banjos, because they'd hear a lot of it on this trip. If they made it out alive, they'd be really good at squealin, just like a hawg!
