- (Sports Network) - Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart was unable to practice for a second straight day Thursday, leaving his status for Sunday's matchup with the Oakland Raiders in question.
Stewart was Carolina's top pick in April's draft, taken 13th overall out of Oregon, and leads the team with five rushing touchdowns. In total, he has rushed for 362 yards on 96 attempts this season.
The 21-year-old told the Panthers' website that the injury bothered him in a Week 8 win over Arizona and that it lingered throughout the team's bye week.

Defensive tackle Darwin Walker (neck) is the only other player listed on the injury report coming off the team's bye. He suffered the injury in a October 25 traffic accident.
