- (Sports Network) - Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen is listed as doubtful for Sunday's divisional bout with the Green Bay Packers with a shoulder injury.
Allen was injured in Minnesota's 28-21 win over the Houston Texans last Sunday but still finished with two sacks, three tackles and a forced fumble.
The 6-foot-6, 270-pounder, was the NFL's leader in sacks last season with a career-high 15 1/2, in addition to 67 tackles and three forced fumbles for the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Vikings dealt their first-round pick, 17th overall, and both their third-round picks to the Chiefs to acquire Allen in a draft-day deal -- then negotiated one of the largest contracts ever for a defensive player for the franchise, signing Allen to a six-year, $74 million contract with $31 million guaranteed.
The fifth-year pro out of Idaho State is tied with Kevin Williams for the team lead in sacks with seven, has forced two fumbles and has 25 tackles through eight games this season.
