ANNANDALE, Va. - Two men are being held without bond, accused of selling weapons, visa fraud and even offering to sell an FBI (web) informant a missile that could hit the Pentagon.

According to an affidavit, defendant Amjad Hamed said:

"When I say missile, it is with everything… with the controls if you want you can reach the Pentagon."

Hamed also allegedly asked the FBI informant to obtain visas for six of his associates who wanted to come here to the United States from Jordan and the West Bank.

The investigation began in 2006 when the informant met with Hamed at his Annandale home.

A year later, Hamed and the Informant met in a parking lot, where Hamed sold the informant an AR-15 assault rifle and a handgun with the serial number scratched off, according to the indictment.

Hamed also allegedly offered to sell the informant an M-16 military assault rifle.

The informant also met with Hamed's cousin, Ibrahim Hamed, who pleaded guilty Wednesday to conspiracy to transport a weapon with an obliterated serial number across state lines.

ABC 7 Talkback: Defendant Allegedly Boasted He Could Acquire a Missile
outraged
Why did the famously incompetent FBI only purchase a couple of guns from this Hamed?  Why didn?t they provide the visas for the six terrorists trying to come here from Jordan and the West Bank?  The FBI could then add another six to their conspiracy and take off a group of knuckleheads who are only interested in coming here to incite violence and terrorism.  Why didn?t they try and acquire this missile that Hamed could allegedly provide?  Why did they only buy a couple of guns?

If the FBI is going to fight terrorism, then fight terrorism.  Leave the ATF cases (illegal sale of firearms) to ATF.
