Milan Michalek added two goals, while Rob Blake, Christian Ehrhoff and Dan Boyle each collected three assists for San Jose, which snapped a modest two- game losing streak. Brian Boucher made 23 saves in his fourth consecutive start in place of Evgeni Nabokov, who remains sidelined with a lower body injury.
Miikka Kiprusoff had a miserable night for the Flames, who have dropped five of their last seven games. The Finnish netminder let in four goals on 20 shots in a forgettable first period for Calgary, which was thoroughly dominated. Curtis McElhinney replaced Kiprusoff at the beginning of the second period and allowed two goals on 26 shots the rest of the way.

San Jose scored four goals, including three with the man advantage, in the opening 20 minutes to chase Kiprusoff from the crease. Pavelski buried a rebound off the Blake shot to give the Sharks a 1-0 lead at the 8:04 mark.
Michalek netted an even-strength marker just 27 seconds later, then Patrick Marleau hammered in a rebound, and Joe Thornton capped the outburst with 2:18 remaining.
Michalek's second tally accounted for all the scoring in the middle stanza, and Pavelski made it 6-0 with another power-play goal 3:35 into the third period.
Mike Cammalleri broke up Boucher's shutout bid, scoring a power-play goal with 9:47 to play.
