Police: Shooting in SE D.C.

WASHINGTON - Metropolitan Police Department (web|news) detectives are investigating a shooting in Southeast D.C. that happened around 5:40 p.m. on the 1100 block of Trenton Place.
Police reported a man was shot multiple times in the chest. He has been transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
Homicide detectives have been called to the scene. There is no word yet on a suspect or a motive.
