(Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Galaxy acquired forward Jovan Kirovski from the San Jose Earthquakes in exchange for a conditional pick in the 2010 Supplemental Draft, the Major League Soccer club announced on Monday.
A former member of the Galaxy, Kirovski split the 2008 season between the Earthquakes and the Colorado Rapids. In his five-year MLS career, Kirovski has appeared in a total of 118 games, scoring 24 goals and 10 assists.
"Jovan is an experienced player who we are happy to have back with the Galaxy," Los Angeles General Manager and coach Bruce Arena said. "He has shown the ability to play abroad, internationally and in MLS and is a welcome addition to our roster."
