At 12:21 Wednesday morning, Fairfax County (web|news) police responded to a report of a person lying in the roadway at the intersection of Leesburg Pike (route 7) and the beltway. Officers found the body of Jesus Villanueva, age 31, of Hillside Drive in Falls Churchin the road; he appeared to have been struck by a vehicle, but no description of the vehicle is available.
Leesburg Pike was closed for accident reconstruction with traffic re-routed to the outer loop of the beltway, but it had reopened by 5:00 a.m.
