WASHINGTON - Middle linebacker London Fletcher and defensive linemen Andre Carter and Kedric Golston did not practice Friday and will be game-time decisions for the Washington Redskins (web|news) on Sunday against the New York Giants.

All three had foot injuries in last week's 20-17 win over the Seattle Seahawks and are listed as questionable on the injury report.

"It's still up in the air," said Fletcher, who has a sprained foot. "I'm hopeful that I can play, but right now I couldn't say definitively. ... I've had injuries in the past, but I've just had to suck it up and deal with it. This one is a different type of injury than I've had before."

Fletcher hasn't missed a game in his 11-year NFL career, a streak of 171 games, including 130 starts.

"If we can get the little irritation isolated and braced, he may be able to go," coach Jim Zorn said. "He wants to play, but it will be a pain-tolerance issue."

Marcus Washington is already ruled out with a sprained ankle, leaving Rocky McIntosh as the only healthy linebacker among the regular starters as the Redskins prepare to face the No. 1 rushing offense in the NFL. H.B. Blades would start in the middle and Alfred Fincher will start on the strong side if Fletcher can't play.

The injuries to Carter and defensive tackle Golston could deprive the Redskins of half of their starting defensive line. Diametric Evans would likely start at end for Carter and Anthony Montgomery at tackle for Golston.

In addition, offensive stalwarts Clinton Portis, who leads the NFL in rushing, and left tackle Chris Samuels were sidelined from practice this week with knee injuries that have nagging for a few weeks. Neither has missed a game and both are expected to play Sunday, although they are also listed as questionable.

Also Friday, receiver Santana Moss was fined $5,000 for punching cornerback Josh Wilson in the second quarter of last week's game. Moss drew a 15-yard penalty on the play.
