TUCSON, Ariz. - Authorities say a Maryland woman whose body was found in a Tucson pool accidentally choked to death and did not drown.

Detectives with Pima County Sheriff's Department say 67-year-old Linda Reynolds was found dead in a wading pool at a town home complex early Thursday. She was alone at the time of the choking and was in Tucson visiting her sister.

Paramedics arrived on the scene and Reynolds was pronounced dead shortly after 3 a.m. There were no signs of foul play and sheriff's homicide detectives say the death was accidental and neither drugs nor alcohol were involved.

Authorities say an autopsy found Reynolds died from an obstructed airway.
