(Sports Network) - The Milwaukee Bucks get back to work on a six-game homestand Saturday, when they welcome the Golden State Warriors to the Bradley Center.
The Bucks improved to 2-0 on the residency Wednesday when rookie star Brandon Jennings scored 32 points and dished out nine assists as Milwaukee downed Denver, 108-102, on Wednesday.
"I was trying to come out and play smart, get my teammates involved and then finish through them," said Jennings.
Jennings' outside game was supported by Andrew Bogut's 23 points and 10 rebounds on the interior. Ersan Ilyasova added 17 points and eight rebounds off the bench for the Bucks, who have won three straight overall.
Milwaukee will finish its homestand by hosting Dallas, New Jersey and Charlotte.
Meanwhile, the Warriors will resume a five-game road trip Saturday and have won two of three games, including Friday's 121-107 triumph over the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
Stephen Jackson posted 23 points and eight rebounds, while Monta Ellis, Corey Maggette and Kelenna Azubuike each netted 22 points in a winning effort. C.J. Watson came off the bench and hit 7-of-8 from the field for 19 points for Golden State, which is 1-1 on the trek and will also visit Cleveland and Boston. The Warriors shot 58.3 percent from the floor.
"This is a game where two teams actually matched up pretty well against each other," Warriors head coach Don Nelson said. "Whichever team was able to shoot the best was going to win, and that was us."
Golden State has taken three of the last four games in the series, but dropped its only visit to Milwaukee last season.
