(Sports Network) - Orlando Magic guard Jameer Nelson will undergo an arthroscopic procedure to fix a torn meniscus in his left knee, the team announced on Tuesday.
Nelson, who will have the surgery done on Wednesday, hurt the knee in the fourth quarter of Monday's 97-91 win over Charlotte. He is expected to miss four-to-six weeks.
The Saint Joseph's product missed the majority of the second half of last season with a shoulder injury. In 11 starts this year, Nelson is averaging 13.7 points, 5.5 assists and 3.1 rebounds per contest.
