(Sports Network) - The Seattle Seahawks announced Wednesday that running back Julius Jones will miss Sunday's game at Minnesota because of a bruised lung.
The team first diagnosed Jones with a fractured rib after he was injured during the first quarter of a 31-20 loss to the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday. Seattle head coach Jim Mora clarified the injury as a bruised lung on Monday.
Jones did not participate in practice Wednesday and will miss practice the rest of this week.
Cornerbacks Marcus Trufant and Josh Wilson both missed Wednesday's practice because of concussions. Defensive tackle Craig Terrill (shoulder) also sat out Wednesday's session.
