(Sports Network) - San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili will miss Thursday's game against Utah because of a groin injury.
Ginobili was hurt during the first quarter of Wednesday's game against Dallas and is expected to undergo further tests to determine a timetable for his return.
The veteran sixth man is averaging 14.1 points and 4.2 assists in nine games this season.
San Antonio also said guard Tony Parker is doubtful for Thursday's game because of a sprained left ankle he aggravated this past Saturday against Oklahoma City. He missed Wednesday's game and is considered day-to-day.
Parker has appeared in just six games this season, as he initially injured the ankle in a November 6 game against Portland, and is averaging 15.2 points with 4.2 assists.
