WASHINGTON - A dog bit two Metropolitan Police Department
(web | news) officers on the leg while they attempted to serve a search warrant Saturday morning, authorities say.
It happened around 10:30 a.m. at 926 Ingraham Street NW. Both officers sustained minor injuries.
Police say one of the officers shot at the dog but did not hit the dog during the incident.
