(Sports Network) - LeBron James tallied 32 points, nine assists and seven rebounds, and the Cavaliers benefited from a cold-shooting 76ers club in the fourth quarter to come away with a 97-91 victory.

Mo Williams chipped in 18 points, eight boards and five helpers for the Cavs, winners in seven of their last eight games. J.J. Hickson and Zydrunas Ilgauskas finished with 14 and 13 points, respectively, in the winning effort.

Lou Williams paced the Sixers with 22 points, but the team's 4-for-23 shooting performance in the final 12 minutes sealed their fourth loss in five games. Thaddeus Young added 21 points, while Elton Brand recorded a double-double with 18 points and 14 caroms in the setback.

"We rose to the challenge," Sixers head coach Eddie Jordan said. "I like the way we executed...We just didn't win the game."

It was tied, 85-all, near the midway point of the fourth before Ilgauskas gave the Cavs the lead for good with a basket off an offensive rebound. Jamario Moon followed with consecutive makes in close, and James hit a layup for a 93-85 cushion with 3:53 on the clock.

"Jamario coming off the bench gave us a big lift," Cavaliers head coach Mike Brown said.

Young stopped the 8-0 run with a bucket, and Brand added a tip-in with 3:15 left, which proved the final field goal for Sixers, who missed their final five shots from the field to come up short.

Cleveland jumped out to a 36-23 lead after 12 minutes, but Philly inched back and cut its deficit to 54-51 at halftime.

It stayed close in the third frame, and Lou Williams netted the Sixers' final seven points -- the last two on free throws -- to give the visitors an 81-75 edge with a quarter to play.

An 8-0 run finished off by consecutive Mo Williams jumpers put the Cavs in front, 85-83, in the early stages of the fourth.

The Sixers will play six of their next seven games on the road...Cavs center Shaquille O'Neal remained sidelined with a shoulder injury, while Philadelphia sharp-shooter Jason Kapono missed the contest with a balky ankle...Andre Iguodala had 12 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for the Sixers, who also received 12 points from Rodney Carney.
