A task force at Virginia Tech is weighing two proposals for the classrooms in Norris Hall where 31 people were killed, including the guman. One proposal would create centers for violence prevention and student service work, while the other calls for videoconferencing, research and laboratory space for students.

The task force plans to submit its choice this week to president Charles Steger, who then may conduct his own study of how best to use the rooms.

ABC 7 News myTAKE - What's Your Opinion? No definite dates have established for deciding on the use of Norris or reopening the space.

After the April 16th shootings, ideas for the future of the three-story gray stone building ranged from restoring classes as usual, to turning the building into a memorial or razing it.

The school refurbished the structure, and officials reopened the building because it contained sophisticated laboratory equipment that could not be moved. They decided it would no longer be used for general classes.

Use the building as a monument to how well Gun Control works.

Gun Control rules made sure that every LAW ABIDING person in that building was totally defenseless.

While the poilce stood outside in bulletproof vests with M-16s, hiding behind trees and cars waiting for Cho to run out of ammo, the only thing the people inside could do is barracade their doors and wait for the help that wasn't coming.

Passing a hundred new laws that will only affect Law Abiding Citizens won't solve anything.......There are many laws against drinking and driving, and yet thousands of people every year die on our roads because those poeple that choose to break the law.
