A Metrobus and an SUV collided Monday morning in Hyattsville, sending several people to the hospital. The bus driver told Metro that the SUV was traveling southbound along Riverdale Road at a high rate of speed when it crossed the center line and struck the bus head on near Auburn Avenue. It happened about 7:30 a.m.

The SUV driver was the most seriously injured, according to Prince George's County Fire and EMS.

ABC 7 News myTAKE - What's Your Opinion?About 10 people from the bus were taken to the hospital, mostly with minor injuries. Fire officials are still working on a final head count.

Please...SPARE ME!...were you there?!!! You don't know what the SUV driver would say! Do think anyone would drive on the opposite side of the road on purpose? Please know the facts before you ask to be spared!
