Quince Orchard Wins High School Football Championship

Quince Orchard of Montgomery County is the Maryland 4A high school football champion after a 36-30 comeback victory over Arundel. Quince Orchard trailed 23-7 midway through the final period before scoring four touchdowns in the final eight minutes to finish the first undefeated season in school history at 14-0.
Travis Hawkins caught the go-ahead 78-yard touchdown pass from Jaron Morrison with 1:30 left. Thomas Addison also had three touchdowns and a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter.
Arundel finishes at 13-1.
