All these liberal busybodies can think of doing is to intrude further into our private lives. Instead they should be enabling self sufficiency if they are as much for personal freedom as they claim to be.

Once all the LAW ABIDING citizens register their personal firearms so they won't become criminals, Ramsey will have a nice database to use when they declare the personal possession of any, or all classes of firearms illegal so they can start going door to door to pick them up.

Also if their department's secure database protection is as good as it was in DC, the criminals will have acces to the same shopping list in short order...........

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * As for the statement that "In Virginia all you need is a valid drivers license to get a gun permit. I still don't see how it deters crime in VA"

There is no "Gun Permit" in the state of Virginia......

There is quite a bit more than just a valid driver's license required for a Concealed Handgun Permit in Virginia......Like an FBI background check....and in some areas they run your fingerprints.

Obviously you are from out of state, and need to double check your information resources.
