ABC 7 News - Police Search for Driver in Hit-and-Run that Killed Two

Maryland State Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that struck and killed two people standing outside their vehicle on southbound Interstate-95 in Howard County. State police say 37-year-old Vaughn Monroe and 35-year-old Adrienne Jones, both from the District were pronounced dead at the scene early Sunday near the rest area in Savage. A positive identification has not been made.

Police say the victims were exchanging drivers along the right shoulder when they were struck.

A passenger in the back seat of the victims' vehicle told police they were hit by a 2004 Ford Explorer. Police say the driver of that vehicle stopped and walked back to the crash scene, but ran off after a brief conversation with the passenger.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early twenties, wearing dark clothing. He was last seen running southbound on I-95 away from the crash scene.

Because if you are white you are right. If it's a black or latino that commits any offense it the worse thing in the world, but as you can see this barely received a comment or blog. And they tell me racism is dead. Where is the outrage over a black couple being killed in a hit & run accident?

The lack of comments just reinforces what I already know. Racism is well and alive in America. And you want me to vote for a black man for President. Sorry I won't toss my vote in the trash can. Not that I don't think he can't do the job, But America will never allow it in 2009.
