A Union Bridge man has acknowledged in court making a bad decision when he fired his AK-47 earlier this year because of his neighbor's barking dogs.

45-year-old Dennis Kolb pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment Wednesday after telling the judge he screwed up. He was sentenced to one year in prison at his trial in Frederick County Circuit Court. No one was injured by the gunfire.

ABC 7 News myTAKE - What's Your Opinion? On April 28, Kolb said barking dogs were keeping him from sleeping. So he went outside - while intoxicated - with his AK-47 assault rifle and fired multiple shots into the air.

Micheal Vick is serving fed time for conspiracy, not cruelty to animals. The latter is what the state will charge him with. Otherwise, what case would the state have aganist him since the constitution protects us from double jeopardy or being punished twice for the same offense. That's how he only got 23 months the big bullet will come from the state of VA.
