6 Families Displaced By Rockville Fire

Six families have been displaced by a fire in Rockville.


The blaze broke out around 11:00 p.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Monroe Street at the Fireside Park Apartments. Fire crews found fire and smoke coming from a top-floor apartment of this three-story apartment building. The fire originated in the living room/bedroom area of the apartment. No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the fire is still being determined. It took firefighters 15 minutes to put out the fire.
