Even if she did have emergency equipment running, she should be aware of moving vehicles nearby and the possibility of the drivers not seeing the lights or hearing the siren. Just because the law requires drivers to yield the right of way, doesn't guarantee clear passage for emergency vehicles. Sometimes accidents happen through no fault of anyone involved, but everyone needs to be more careful, including emergency personnel.
