Another Gun Buyback Planned for D.C.

The D.C. police department is planning another gun buyback program for this Saturday.
It will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1510 Ninth St. NW; Johnson Memorial Baptist Church, 800 Ridge Rd. SE; and Union Temple Baptist Church, 1225 W St. SE. People turning in working firearms will receive cash, and gun possession charges will be waived.
The program is open to residents of the District, Montgomery and Prince George's counties, Arlington County and Alexandria.
A buyback operation on Dec. 15 garnered 279 firearms.
