The D.C. police department is planning another gun buyback program for this Saturday.


It will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1510 Ninth St. NW; Johnson Memorial Baptist Church, 800 Ridge Rd. SE; and Union Temple Baptist Church, 1225 W St. SE. People turning in working firearms will receive cash, and gun possession charges will be waived.

ABC 7 News myTAKE - What's Your Opinion?The program is open to residents of the District, Montgomery and Prince George's counties, Arlington County and Alexandria.

A buyback operation on Dec. 15 garnered 279 firearms.

Or they could just not show up and still have no charges and or I bet people are making money off of stolen firearms.

I know as a legal gun owner I wouldn't sell any back especailly if I wasn't offered fair value for them.
