posted 10:35 am Thu December 27, 2007 - Owings Mills, Md.
Running back Musa Smith will get his first career starting assignment Sunday when the Ravens host the Steelers in the regular season finale.
Starter Willis McGahee is out of action because of the rib injury he suffered against Seattle, and backup Mile Anderson is suffering from a hamstring injury. Smith has had 53 carries for 181 yards this season, career highs in both categories. He also scored a touchdown and caught 24 passes for 184 yards.
Smith was picked in the third round of the 2003 draft and is completing a one-year contract.
