Redskins Have Even More Motivation to Beat Cowboys

It's win & your-in for the Redskins. And if the playoffs weren't enough motivation for Washington, Sunday's game comes against their biggest rivals.
Improbable as it seemed only a few weeks ago, the Redskins (8-7) can earn a trip to the playoffs by beating the Dallas Cowboys (13-2) this Sunday. The Redskins lost in Dallas by 8 points the last time the teams met-up but fans are hoping to provide a home-field advantage this time around.
"There's one thing I think will really help the Redskins if Jessica Simpson is in stands because she is bad luck for Cowboys Quarterback Tony Romo, her boyfriend," said Redskins fan Michael Rubin.

Even without Simpson at the stadium, a lot of fans have been visiting the website
RuinRomo.com gathering cut outs of the pop star in hopes of distracting the Cowboys Quarterback.
The Cowboys lost 10-6 to the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this month and Romo had what was statistically the worst game of his career, all while Simpson sat in a luxury box wearing a pink No. 9 jersey that she proudly showed off for television cameras.
Romo's previous worst game came last season, also in December at home to the Eagles, when then-girlfriend Carrie Underwood was in attendance.
Terrell Owens made the situation worse after the Eagles game two weeks ago when he playfully stating that Simpson was "not a fan favorite" at Texas Stadium and questioned Romo focus on the game whenever either singer is in the stands.Dallas has been a favorite in the NFC for most of the season and the Cowboys have already secured a first round bye and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. In contrast, the Redskins have had to overcome a series of harsh losses both on the field and off.
"We gotta get this game to make it to the playoffs," said Redskin fan John Daunce. "(It's the) biggest game we've had in a long time. (Sunday's game) is really the key to the whole season."
The Redskins are riding a three game win streak after losing four in a row and were tied for last place in the division. Fans and teammates have also mourned the loss of star safety Sean Taylor after he was shot to death in his Florida home. And overcome the loss of five starters to season-ending injuries, including starting Quarterback Jason Campbell.
Coach Joe Gibbs predicts Sunday's game will be a "first-class, big-time football game" with everything on the line for the Redskins. If they lose, however, the Redskins will need some help getting into the playoffs.
In the event of a Redskins loss, they'll only make the playoffs if Minnesota and New Orleans also lose. In the event of a tie, Washington needs Minnesota to either lose or tie.
