How much for a squirt gun? You can load them with gasoline, ya know?

The whole thing is muddled. Expertly muddled. It's an Ad Campaign. Cheaper than billboards - 18K for primetime TV and much press.

It's the wild west in much of DC and the police have their hands tied. So - you get ad campaigns. Frankly, you deserve it.

I'll bet there wasn't one 'assault' rifle turned in - but the public will remember something about police taking assault rifles off the streets. A rifle is not an assault rifle but it sure sounds good.

DC prices are, as expected, absurd. A revolver is equally as destructive as a semi automatic pistol yet the revolver only brought half the price.

Sell a gun to DC, take the money and buy a bigger illegal gun. Total wast e of money. Who's kidding who?

I thought you couldn't own guns in DC. Isn't that why DC is going to court? They want to continue the ban. I guess the law doesn't matter when it suits their purpose. I'll bet the real criminals keep their guns.

The thugs and slime are really enjoying this.. wow, how dumb can they get down there anyway? Doing that they might as well draw a target on their backs saying.."I want it in the back"

If any of these people were smart they would of taken their firearms (guns) to a store and sell them for 3 times what law enforcement are paying out.... unless all these guns being turned in are stolen property then they are making a 100% profit. With that said are serial numbers being checked and guns returned to rightfull owners if they were stolen? I bet not.

Don't they need a firearms license to buy all these guns? And since guns are legal and will become public property, isn't it destruction of government property to melt them down? Shouldn't they, by law be resold?
